Kubert's gritty realism added an edge to the stories that were great for War and Western stories that required a serious tone. His fantasy, science fiction, and Superhero work also had a depth that couldn't be matched. This expert storyteller can create scenes that run the gamut of emotion and drama in any situation. It was through Kubert's artwork that writers could comment on race, war, and ultimately the triumph of the human spirit. Not much of his artwork is on the market since he has kept almost all of his work through the years.
