Rob Liefeld's artwork has the brash and rough attitude that helped define the early 90's comics boom. While ankles, wrists, and other anatomical features may not have been as realistic as the audiences may have wanted, Liefeld's style was supercharged enough to ignite the imaginations of fans everwhere. He proved that the action, the mugging for the camera, and the firepower drawn to much excess would translate well to the masses hungering for something excitingly different.
