Fresh off contributing artwork for the epic Superman stories of 1993, "Doomsday!", "Funeral for a Friend", and "Reign of the Supermen!", Jon Bogdanove was commissioned by an event called Nostalgia Con to create promotional material for the occasion featuring the Man of Steel. This piece, which features Superman and his notoriously 90s mullet, is an extraordinary homage to Jim Steranko's classic cover for The Incredible Hulk Annual #1 (1968), as the hero takes an Atlas-like stance to support the weight of the logo.
