The fantastic comic stories of Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez continues to amaze and delight us, years after the brothers burst upon the scene back in 1982 (or '81, if you count their first, self-published comic). And while Jaime and 'Beto have each gone off to do other, successful projects, it's Love and Rockets we all crave. This wonderful collaboration between the two served as endpapers for their ninth hardcover anthology. It's ink, graphite, and blue pencil art, edge-to-edge on a sheet of 17" x 14" Bristol board. Three of the panels were last-minute replacements; one is beginning to lift up (Gilbert's horned man) but is still in place. $10,000.00
